This notice explains how Monkey Floors handles information collected through monkeyfloors.com.
Information you give us
When you join the collection list or request the checklist, we collect your email address, request type, consent record and time of submission. A submitted state or territory and source page may also be recorded.
When you contact us, we store your email address, message and consent to handle your enquiry. Contacting us does not subscribe you to collection news.
The interactive planning tools run in your browser. Their answers are not submitted to us unless you choose to include them in a message or form.
How we use it
We use your details to fulfil your request, answer an enquiry and send collection news where you have agreed to receive it. We also use limited technical information to protect forms from abuse.
A salted hash of the submitting IP address is stored for abuse controls. It is not the raw IP address. Hosting and security providers also process technical request information to operate their services.
We do not sell your personal information.
Services that help us run the site
Cloudflare hosts the site and stores form records in its D1 database. Cloudflare Turnstile is used for form security when configured.
Resend processes email addresses and message content to send requested emails and operational notifications. Submission notifications may also be sent to a private Discord channel used by the people operating the site.
These providers may process information outside Australia. Their notices explain their handling of information: Cloudflare, Resend and Discord.
Site analytics may be enabled through Cloudflare Web Analytics or Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the site. Those services process visit information according to their settings and privacy notices, including Google’s privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We retain subscription records while they are needed to manage your preferences. After an unsubscribe, we retain a suppression record so a later form submission does not silently add you back.
Contact messages and operational records are retained while needed to answer enquiries, manage requests and maintain the service. You can ask us to review or delete your information.
Your choices
Use the unsubscribe link in a collection email to stop collection news. You can also contact us to ask for access, a correction or deletion. We may need to verify that the request is yours.
You can read the journal and use the planning tools without joining the list. The printable approval checklist is also available directly.

Please contact us with any privacy concern so we can investigate. Information about privacy complaints is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
